General Fund

This fund provides the most flexibility to the Foundation to fulfill it purpose. Your contributions to this fund are encouraged and recommended by the Trustees. These funds are allocated as needed to the various funds below and for Foundation Operations.

Site Preservation Fund

This funds a range of Hang Gliding and Paragliding Site Preservation Activities. This is the most popular fund base on contributions from the flying community. The Foundation has and will consider grant requests for site acquisition, site preservation, and legal assistance. See our Grants Application for details. Most grants require a demonstration of need and matching funds dollar for dollar.

Safety & Education Fund

This funds a range of Hang Gliding and Paragliding Education activities including, research, training, site guides and more.  If the activity or project can establish, stimulate, support and maintain programs and research for hanging gliding and paragliding it will be considered by the Foundation. See our Grants Application for details. Most grants require a demonstration of need and matching funds dollar for dollar.

Competition Funds

This funds a range of Hang Gliding and Paragliding Competition Activities. Because of limited resources in these funds the Foundation has limited its grants to World Team events. To date we have only been able to support World Teams entry fees. Our goal is to do more but we need contributions to these funds. When our teams compete in the world arena they are competing against teams that are fully funded; sometimes by their government. We need more contributions to these funds. You may not be a competitor but the competition world is our testing ground for safer and better performing equipment.
